We invite you to learn about the Alabama Therapeutic Education Facility, our 400-bed adult male reentry center, in Columbiana, Alabama.
As Case Manager, you will manage an assigned caseload of residents which will include maintaining case files.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Creates, updates and maintains case records on each assigned resident;
- Collects resident history such as treatment and incarceration and general background [including
genogram] and develops recommended individualized treatment plan;
- Conducts individual, group and family counseling sessions plus case load group sessions;
- Recommends residents for specific programs in accordance with treatment plan;
- Develops continuing care treatment plans for assigned residents;
- Documents all residents scheduled meetings and ad hoc interactions; monitors clinical charts;
- Provides interventions with residents;
Bachelor?s degree in a related field, Experience working in a corrections or residential setting, Experience working with an inmate population and drug and alcohol certification a plus. Valid driver's license is required. Good computer skills including proficiency in MS Word and Internet navigation. We conduct Drug Testing as a condition of employment.
